Change incident owner by policy or template


Testing out Incident Orchestration features - I can’t seem to find a way to automatically (or manually) change (or transfer) the owner of the incident. Is there such a capability?

Incidents are strictly connected to Services, which are owned by teams. This is due to the connected rule sets and the service status page.

Currently, there is no way to re-assign ownership of an incident or service on the fly. If the service itself is changing owners, you may consider re-creating it for the new team. Alternatively, you may clone a service through the API as well.
