Alert sent to general email




Is there a way that I can route certain escalations to a specific group email address that is not necessarily attached to an active user with OpsGenie? It appears I must create a fake user and assign them an address.



Hi @alex5325 - Opsgenie does not have any sort of outgoing email options other than email notifications for alerts/incidents to users. So the only option would be to target a specific user in Opsgenie with that group email address.
